Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Sound2Agent ("we", "us") collects when you use sound2agent.com and the Sound2Agent service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, and password hash when you create an account.
- Content you provide — audio you record or upload, and the transcripts, summaries, and actions generated from it.
- Integration data — tokens and metadata needed to connect the third-party tools you choose (for example Slack or Notion). We access connected tools only to carry out actions you configure.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive subscription status and the last four digits of your card, never the full card number.
- Usage data — basic logs and analytics (pages visited, features used, device and browser type) to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: transcribe audio, generate summaries, and run the actions you approve.
- To operate accounts, billing, and support.
- To secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To send service communications; marketing emails only with your consent, and you can opt out anytime.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your audio or transcripts to train third-party AI models.
3. Processing and subprocessors
We use a small number of service providers to run Sound2Agent — for example cloud hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), AI processing providers for transcription and summarization, and Stripe for payments. Providers process data only under contract and only as needed to provide their service to us.
4. Retention and deletion
- Content is retained according to your plan's history settings, or until you delete it.
- Deleting a recording removes the audio and its derived transcripts and summaries from active systems, with backups expiring on a rolling schedule.
- Deleting your account removes your personal data except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@sound2agent.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
6. Recording other people
If your audio includes other people, you are responsible for informing them and obtaining any consent required by applicable law before recording. Do not upload recordings you are not legally permitted to make or use.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong, unique passwords.
8. Cookies
The marketing site uses only essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics without cross-site tracking. The app uses cookies needed for sign-in and security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product before they take effect.
11. Contact
